Kicksleds are in common use in Finland, Norway and Sweden and are becoming more and more popular in the USA. They can be used for casual recreation, racing, aerobic exercise, family fun (such as taking kids for a snow ride) or as dogsleds (light duty mushing with a single dog). Ice fishermen use them to cart their equipment out onto frozen lakes and then as a seat while fishing.
We're a small, family-run business. We keep our overhead low and we get our sleds directly from Vansbro Sparkfabrik in Sweden rather than thru a distributor. As a result, we're able to sell these smartly engineered, ruggedly built kicksleds at fair and reasonable prices.
We also sell other sledding products including Mad River Rocket sleds from Vermont and the top of the line Elegant and Royal Flyers from Mountain Boy Sledworks in Silverton Colorado.
