Elegant Flyer

The Elegant Flyer is an heirloom quality downhill sled built like a fine piece of furniture that trumps everything else on the sledding hill. Made from curly maple and flame birch, sanded smooth and hand-rubbed with a lead-free, marine-grade finish. Black-stained willow handrails. Stainless steel hardware. Patent-pending steering (the whole front section pivots) with durable black plastic skids on the bottom. Hand-made in the Mountain Boy Crested Butte Colorado workshop in limited quantities; each sled is signed and numbered by the sledmaker.

Our price for the Elegant Flyer is $395.00. Add a sled pad for $15.00 and custom lettering for $15.00 (see "Related Products" below) for a total cost of $425.00 which is up to $75.00 less than the price of the sled alone (without pad and custom lettering) at other online stores.

Measures 48”L x 24” W x 4” H, 12 to 15 lbs. Weight limit: 300 lbs. Age range: 3 years & up. Meets all ASTM and USC child safety criteria.
